Advanced hunting clinics May 2015 well on the way to becoming sold out. Make your reservation now for black powder hunting clinic now.

Hunting clinics scheduled for April 2015 are all full. No more deer or wild pig clinic spaces available. The next available hunting clinic is the black powder class on May 30, 2015. It will be held on the River Oaks Range, Winton. This class is a cooperation between CDFW advanced hunter eduction and the Safety First Shooting Association. This specialized hunting clinic is designed to introduce hunters to hunting big game in the style of previous centuries. It will offer hands-on information needed to get started safely in black powder hunting.  Please do not bring any personal firearms to this clinic.

Boar Rifle Book

The next available advanced hunting clinic will be a deer hunting hunting class. It is scheduled for June 6, 2015 in Santa Clara, Cañada De Los Osos, Santa Clara County .

CDFW, Pacific Coast Hunter  Education Association and the California Deer Association are sponsoring this deer hunting clinic. Topics are deer biology, hunting considerations, methods for locating deer, hunting techniques and locations to hunt. Field dressing deer and caring for the game are additional important topics.

As always space is limited. This clinic can accommodate 50 hunters of all skill levels. Cost: $ 45.00. Juniors 17 and under participate for free if accompanied by a parent or guardian.

Participants can purchase a BBQ lunch for $ 15.00 on site.

The only other advanced hunting clinic (Land Navigation and Wilderness Survival) to be held in June 2015 is already sold out. It is scheduled for June 20 – 21, 2015 in the Eldorado National Forest.
